Product Description

Why do you need a swing check valve?

The swing check valve is used in various mediums like steam, water, nitric acid, oil, solid oxidizing media, acetic acid, and urea. These are generally used in chemical, petroleum, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, power, and other industries. However, these valves are suitable for cleaning and not for those mediums that contain very high impurities. These valves are also not recommended for mediums that are pulsating. We are one of the top swing check valve suppliers who produce superior quality valves.

The lip seal present on the disk makes sure that it is not loose.
The disc or bonnet design makes it easy to maintain
The disc on the valve can move slightly both vertically as well as horizontally close properly.
When the disk is light in weight, it requires minimum force to close or open the valve.
A hinge around the shaft with strong bones ensures the durability of the valve.
Swing type check valves are designed so as to prevent the medium in the pipe from flowing backward. When the pressure becomes zero, the valve shuts down completely, which prevents the backflow of materials inside the pipeline.
Turbulence and pressure drop in swing-type wafer check valves are very low.
These valves are to be installed horizontally in the pipes; however, they can also be vertically installed.
Equipped with a weight block, it can quickly close in the pipeline and eliminate destructive water hammer

Check valves are vital in keeping piping systems equipment safe. They are practical, easy to install, cost-effective, and can be used in various applications and working conditions. However, all these benefits would be unavailable if the wrong check valve is selected for an application. Proper selection is also crucial for cost savings. The following factors must be considered before choosing a check valve.
