Product Description

The Class 600 Cast Steel Globe Valve operates on the principle of a linear motion to regulate the flow of fluid. When the handwheel is turned, the valve stem moves up or down, causing the disc to either block or allow the flow of fluid. In the closed position, the disc seats against the valve, shutting off the flow. As the handwheel is turned to open the valve, the disc lifts, allowing the fluid to pass through the valve. This on/off and throttling action helps in controlling and regulating the flow rate and pressure within the pipeline.

The robust construction and high-pressure rating of the Class 600 Cast Steel Globe Valve make it suitable for applications requiring accurate flow control and tight shut-off capabilities under high-pressure conditions in industries such as oil and gas, power plants, and chemical processing.

Globe Valve Components
